Problem w/ OEM bulb, it causes a lot of issues from my experience. Your ballast might have gone bad, hopefully it's just that. Check the voltage output of the ballast, make sure you're getting the proper amount.
Try cleaning both fans and inspect the lamp. Usually quite obvious if the lamp is bad (ie. blown tube/shattered glass) Make sure you secure the lamp door properly after.
Projectors shut off when they overheat. They overheat when air does not move through the projector cooling it. This happens when the fans are not working or air filters/vents are not working.
Check to see whether the fans are working. If they are working, open the cover and see whether air filters/vents are covered with dust. If so clean them.
this problem caused by cold solder connection on the power supply circuit. I've encountered this problem and by resoldering those loose solder on the board, solved the problem.

I have a KDF60XS955. When I power it on, the fan comes on, the standby light flashes green several times, the lamp comes on and the standby light goes to solid green. This lasts for less than 5 seconds then the lamp goes out, followed by ~30 green standby flashes, the lamp coming on with the solid green standby light for about 5 seconds then shuts off the lamp again. I can hear/feel the fan running the enitre time. This cycle continues endlessly. Please help!
its probably the bulb. if the red and gren lights are flashing simultaneously, than that means the bulb is burnt amd you need to order a new one and replace it. hope this helps
