There are certain photos and videos which come factory installed with mobile devices. Try as you may these photos cannot be deleted because they are right protected. But if the pictures and videos are those you put there yourself and they refuse to delete then your device has gotten corrupt. First download ? mobile antivirus for the device and if possible format your memory crd to wipe off all viruses finally.

For soft reset type *#7780# For hard reset type *#7370# and if it ask passcode enter the passcode as 12345 as default.Please backup all your data if you performing hard reset because hard reset deletes all data on your phone like contacts,messages,music,videos and photos
Use the Nokia Photos application on your PC. Connect your phone to the PC using for example USB cable. In the left top corner of the application the name of your phone should appear. Click on it - it will turn green. Now you will see the photos on your phone. Select the icons that you want to delete and press delete (on the keyboard).
This is common on the Nokia N79. Your Sim card probably has text messages saved on it and the flashing icon is showing your sim sms memory is full. In the inbox go to the setting and view the sms on the sim, delete them and the message icon should stop flashing.
