Yes it is , but you have to plug in the USB cable from the Projector to the PC to use this function.

The Projector was suppose to come with this ( one end smaller than the other ) USB cable of which the samller end goes into the Projector and the other into your PC.

Is there a battery in the remote control that should be changed

Yes, please check backside of remote, there should be a battery door cover that must be removed. If you do not see this, then you may have to slide the front door of your remote all the way down and off the remote to access the battery compartment. (if you have a sliding door on front of remote, that covers any buttons)

Cannot get the remote to move the slides on the screen

Problem is not clear. Are you trying to use remote of the projector to move the slides? And slides from what? A PowerPoint presentation?
If you are using a computer, use the computer to change what is shown. You cannot use the remote of the projector for that.
Provide more information to help you better.

Sony RM-X151 remote control battery change. I cannot find out how to change the battery and what sort of battery it requires.

If you look on the bottom edge of your remote you should see a little compartment that can slide out, then replace the battery(making sure it goes in the same way it came out!) slide the compartment back in the same way it came out and there you go!!!new battery,Good Luck!!

How do you take the cover off to change the batteries?? Logitech Harmony 510 model

Hi. The battery cover for the Harmony 510 is just like any other remote. There is a small grip area that you push on to slide the battery cover off, (sliding the cover towards the back end of the remote). This remote takes four (4) AAA batteries.

Kodak Projector 760H. Carousel won't move forward or reverse. With remote or pressing the actual buttons.

Chances are that your projector has a broken solenoid "link". This "Link" connects the slide change solenoid and the slide change mechanism. Over time this part becomes brittle & cracks, rendering the slide change non-functional. A pretty easy fix for an authorized repair dealer.

Hitachi cp-s240 remote question

Hitachi data projectors are able to function as a mouse using either the USB port or the control port located on the back of the projector.

However, they are not intended to be used as a remote presenter. This means that although you can use the remote as a mouse, you will not be able to change slides in a full screen slide show using powerpoint.

I recommend the Targus remote presenter for this purpose. This device will function as a mouse, pointing device, and will allow you to change slides in powerpoint. In addition, it's inexpensive, wireless, and small enough to easily fit in your pocket.

Cant find where to change the batteries in the remote... There is no obvious place to put them unless we try to bust it open. Help!

Heya Harvey,

On the panasonic remotes the batteries are under the slide down part of your remote. Where you slide the face down to expose more buttons keep sliding it down abit more and you should find two aa batts.

If this dosent make sense or you would like me to send a link for the remote let me know.

If you have any other problems please feel free to contact me

Thankyou for using fixya

Will not change slides forward/backward, remote focus ok,

Your problem is most likely caused by a broken wire under the control panel or a wire somewhere in the "cycle circuit" that is no longer connected. You should seek out a factory-trained repair dealer who has a schematic that can trace down your projector problem.
