Question about Fine Digital FineDrive 400 GPS Receiver
It comes on to the Finedrive screen, and doesn't go any farther. What can I do, or is it shot. Be fore it done this, it would loose calibration every time I shut it off, and it would take for ever to get it to recalibrate agian. And also it quit making the clicking sound when it started loosing the calibration. I Would sure like some HELP. Thanks
You may actually have more than one issue. the startup issue may be solved by reloading the firmware if its just that but if your unit has other damage you may not be able to recover it. try booting with the home button held pressed, this should take you to windows ce. if it does then you may have a chance. the calibration for the screen can be done once you can run the unit but not gettign a fix could be even a faulty antenna.
I created a dvd with the firmware and map data upgrades, its on ebay if you search for finedrive dvd. its way cheaper than what fine digital used to sell similar dvds for.
