Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W50 Digital Camera
Camera stopped working...battery IS FULLY CHARGED...when I press power button, the only sign of power is the green ring that lights up around the power button..the lens does not open...the screen is blank, and the arrow key to review pics also does nothing...
Try and change the memory card. One of my cards had messed up and my camera wouldn't turn on

This may be a problem internally, and may need serious repair.
One test is to open the battery door, if it has a switch , it should not start in any way. If the camera does the same with the battery door open then check to see if the you can see the switch.
If this camera has a switch, the pin area on the door could be damaged or broken, or the switch is not working. If that is the case, as I have done on one, is to put something small on the switch and tape it there, to allow the camera to start and run, when the door is closed.
