Question about PC Desktops

Ordered norton 360 2.0 upgrade on 4-3-08 for my new laptop order number 2092894447. when confirmation came thru I did not have an email account set up yet so it came to my old desktop. I need a new confirmation sent again so I can download the upgrade.

Could you forward the e-mail from your old desktop to your laptop?
If not, I would contact Symantec tek support online or by phone.

I have just upgraded my norton protection to norton 360 and now I am unable to receive emails


Run through the liveupdate utility and make sure 360 is all up to date. Otherwise, i've run into this problem many times before with other Norton products, and even Symantec's website says to simply disable inbound email scanning. That definitely works, but leaves you somewhat unprotected.

Other suggestions are to allow your email client in your firewall (norton 360) and in your windows firewall (if it's still on)

You'd be getting the 10053 error, i'd assume.

Norton Antivirus 2008 purchased 4th July 2008 Order No.1644036072 £29.99. Confirmed paid on my Bank Statement.Can't Download. Need help as I keep getting reminders and I am not sure if I am covered.


No, even if you completed the purchase the antivirus is not active yet. You should have received, in the email used for the order, a link to the download, and a registration number.
Download the install program from the link and if required use the reg. number.
If you cannot find the email with the link check in spam mail, and in trash bin.
If you still cannot install the update, proceed from here to contact Symatech regarding your order, tell you cannot find the download, they will send a new one.
After installing the antivirus, you will need to connect to the internet to validate installation.

I had purchased Norton 360 online for my lapstop late December 2007 after I did a restore on my system. For the last few months my computer has been running real slow and freezing and locking on me. Today...


firstly, edit your question above and remove your product key, as this could cause you trouble down the road more and people see it, copy it down and then stasrt using copies of this program for free using your product key. Secondly, Norton support will be able send you the file again so that you can complete the process.

I purchased norton 360 version 2.0 order no 1849616067 iwish to use it on my laptop since 3 month free useage expires in 2 days could you please instruct me how to do this as i believe i can use this...


Dear Sir/Madam,

Norton 360 2.0 may be installed on three computers at one time. If you have the product on a CD, you can install it on other two computers using the same CD and the same Product Key. Go to the section "I have a CD version".
If you have purchased the download version of Norton 360 2.0, you need to download and install Norton 360 2.0 on the other two computers, using the same purchase order details. Go to the section "I have a download version".

1. Go to the Symantec Store Order Status Web page on your second or third computer where you want to install Norton 360 2.0.

2. Type your order number and password to log on, and click Find your Order. You will see your order information.
If you do not know your order number and password, you can look up your order using your emailaddress and last 5 digits of your credit card.

On your Order Summary, click Start Download.
If you purchased your product more than 60 days ago, you can click Buy Now to buy the Extended Download Service and download the product again.

Double-click the file that you downloaded.

Read the License Agreement, type your Product Key if prompted, and then click I Agree.
If you do not accept the License Agreement, you cannot continue the installation.

In the Installation Options panel, review the options, and then click Next.

Follow the on-screen instructions.

Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive.

I ordered Nero 8.2.8. I am trying to set up the program on my pc. The program keeps asking for a serial # but I don't have one. The serial # was not sent to my email address.


Did you order it through the Ahead site? Follow the link below. You'll need your email and password to login. If you don't have a password just click on forgot my password and they'll give you a new one. Once you're in, find the link that says resend confirmation email. This should have your serial #. If you did not order from Ahead or this doesn't help (such as receiving another email without your serial # let me know and I'll be happy to help you all that I can. If this solves your problem please rate as fixed. If it doesn't, don't rate it yet and just add a comment letting me know what's going on. Thanks.
