Hobart LX 30 undercounter dishwasher, commercial Does this model require booster?

Most of the Hobart LX series of dishwashers have their own built-in booster heaters. To check for one, remove the lower front panel (2 screws). The booster heater, if present, will be a stainless steel tank on the left side. If it doesn't have a built in booster heater then it was meant to be used with chemical sanitizer instead.

Installed dispensing pumps and put feeder tubes in five gallon pails of solution and when we activate dishwasher it leaks. Orginally the unit didn't have pumps installed and solution was added by hand. ...

Ok you say, "and when we activate dishwasher it leaks" (sic) I presume you mean the dispenser leaks? or the pump? or the actual dishwasher?
if you mean the actual dishwasher is leaking, then maybe the door seal, or seal around where tubes enter? if this from is where it is leaking? has been damaged?
Anyway to assist you please find manuals below these will show you what to do. - - United States -
above are manuals to download.-

I have a LX40 and need parts list . I have a valve or solinoid that is leaking on upper back of machine

i have an lx 30
i think its called a breaker fill valve
hobart sells a rebuild kit thats pretty easy
1str unscrew 2 screws that hold cap on and save
with pair of plyers or channel locks unscrew top where 2 screws were screwed into, counterclockwise,
should be a plastic plunger, with rubber seal, rermove and replace with new one from kit, use grease to grease shaft
re enstal.
make sure you have kit before you attempt this.
if you have hard water deposits, clean those areas best you can,on top nut, also if your lx has a booster heater, hard water will cause havic and expensive repairs, a water softner from the yellow pages , will be your lx s best friend, and their not expensive

Hobart LX 30 P2 Error and unit overflowing!

Hi drogers77,

I'm not a Hobart technician, but here what I founded in my manual for the LX30 error message:

LX18 / LX30 display shows E0, E2, E3 or E4

1. Low water pressure - check for clogged hose strainer; check that site water pressure meets minimum flow pressures.

2. Make sure probes are clean

3. No water pressure - main water supply valves may not be working

4. Drain valve open - turn machine OFF to drain machine, then ON. Repeat twice (this assists in clearing any drain valve obstructions). Wait for machine to reach READY mode and press WASH. Slowly open door several seconds later and note water level. Close door; 30 seconds later, open door slowly and check that water level is the same as it was. If not, repeat the OFF-ON procedure. If problem persists, call your local Hobart Service Office.

5. Delime machine.

Hope it will help you.
