The TV clicks as if it's turning on but then the red light flashes.

Not sure what causes this, but I'm really frustrated with the TV.

If someone knows how to fix it and wants to take this TV off my hands , you're more then welcome.

just come to pick it up.

I had the same problem, I had a repair man to come out n he told me what the problem wasn that it will cost around $300.00. So i took it apon myself n removed the keyboard behind where the power buttons are. I waited 10 minutes and replaced it then I had no problems for3 years. Now that its started back up i need to replace it, but they don't sale the part n e more. But I found a substitue part on Sears direct parts n the part number is RFR-PTS-28 they look different but work the same. Right now the price is $28.00.

My phillips 60 in. projection tv model # 60PP9200D/37, when I hit the (ON) button it starts to flash no matter how long the tv is on it keeps flashing. what is wrong?

There is a light sensing diode in the circuit that blunts an electrical charge from completing a switching action. Like a wall switch Turning on and off by itself. The only way to fix a shorting device is to replace the electronic part/s. This requires test equipment which I assume you may or may not have? A VOM is necessary to check for shorts or voltage changes. A Schematic is necessary for tracing and knowing the Values of resistors/capacitors/ etc. The cost is not worth an investment, thus if you can use the TV as is, wait until it fails 100% and replace it.

My 60 inch phillips tv, I turned it off the other night and now all i get when i turn it on is the power button flashing green. 6 quick flashes and then 1. I need my tv, plz help

Try a new Web search for your brand. Try looking for a Diagnostic trouble code of 6-1 and see if you can pull up parts of a Service manual using that search routine. Try Phillips trouble codes, Phillips Diagnostic Codes, or your model# in the search.

It sounds like it went into a default Diagnostic mode. If you have a Remote with extra functions it may get you into the Diagnostic menu.

My phillips 60 inch tv 60pl9200d/37 wont turn on the power button flashes blue

Look in the manual. (Page 4)

Turn the TV on From main supply: Ensure that the main supply is turned on. A blue indicator light on the front of the TV lights up. When the TV is turned on by the main supply, the blue indicator light will blink for 45 seconds. This is the lamp's start-up period. When the light goes off, press the POWER button on the remote control or power switch. Press POWER to turn on the TV.

Turned off by itself and never came back what part will I replace

If the TV is completly non-responsive (ie not even a flicker of light on the power button) then one of the first things to check on this is the fuses - easiest being the right corner next to where the power cord plugs in (have to take off the back panel)

Phillips 60'' projection hdtv wont turn on

Question do you see green led or light when pressing power button? If you can also listen for a high pitch noise coming from back of set. This would be an indication that the set has powersuppy problem or high voltage problems. If the set is dead and no noise then maybe fuse or open circuit.
