My cd player

can someone give me some advice. i wired up the power wires to my panasonic cq vd 7001 7 inch monitor in my car and it has a cd already in it that wont let me eject it. am i doing something wrong or do i need a remote or something. i bought it off ebay and i dont know if it is defected or anything . can someone help me
