telephone number / prefix in any area code. Search in Area Code 401. RHODE ISLAND. Enterprefix in box. This is a directory of U.S./Canada/Caribbean ...
Dialing '9' might get you an "outside" line (if you work inside a company that has its own telephone-network).
Dialing '1' starts a long-distance call (Canada/USA/Mexico).
Dialing '917' is the "area-code" part of a telephone-number.
Dialing '870' is the "exchange-code" within that area-code.
Dialing '1698' is the local number within that exchange-code.
I am not sure what you want. Do you want the area code for the telephone? In that case your telephone carrier has the answer. Do you want the postal code (Zip Code in the US, or postal code in Canada)? Your country's postal service knows it. You may also go to the postal service website and search for a link to the page where you access the area codes (UPS in the US, Post Canada in Canada, PTT in France..)
Hi,
If you go into your bell mobility account online you can actually request an unlock code for your phone from them. That'll be your best bet aside from paying an unlocking website for one.
It depends on what country you're calling from. The country code for both the US and Canada is "1", so you would dial your international access code, then 1, then the 10 digit telephone number.
Hi England does not have a ZIP Code, as with the US it. England has Post Codes for each district / area. the international telephone dialing code is 0044
