I HAVE A BOSS BR1180 AND AFTER LAYING OUT A SONG,ONE OF MY FAVORITES, BUT NOW WHEN I TRY TO LISTEN TO IT IS SAYS IT IS "LOCKED" OR "PROTECTED". I WENT TO THE MENU AND TOOK THE PROTECTION OFF, AND KNOW IT WONT EVEN LOAD THE SONG. IT SEEMS ALMOST AS IF A VIRUS IS ON IT OR SOMETHING, BUT I HAVE NEVER HOOKED IT UP TO ANY COMPUTER, AND THE ONLY CD'S I'VE INSERTED HAVE BEEN BLANK ONES. PLEASE HELP! I AM ABOUT READY TO THROW THE THING THROUGH THE WINDOW.

Add Variety

Click "Add Variety" under the currently playing station. Type in the name of another artist, track or composer you like and we'll add music with musical qualities to the station.

You can always remove the variety you have added by editing your stations.

Tips to improve stations

We want all our listeners to get the most from their Pandora experience as they discover and enjoy music they love. In that spirit, here's a few things we've come up with to get your stations playing great songs without relying too heavily on skipping tracks.

1. Make a fresh station: Sometimes the best thing to do is simply start over with a fresh station based on a different starting point, such as a related artist or one of your favorite Thumbed up songs. Note you can always bring a station back (with all your Seeds and Thumbs intact) by re-adding it.

2. Thumb freely: Thumb ratings tell us everything about the kinds of music you want to hear. If you have a reaction to a song, let us know! This will give us a better idea of what to play next. Keep in mind, Thumbing down a track counts as a skip.

3. Review your station: When stations are playing songs wildly out of place, or songs that aren't fitting within that station's sound, you should check your station details and edit any Thumb ratings or Seeds that may be adversely affecting the playlist.

4. Switch it up: Don't be afraid to make changes. If your station is repetitive, first try our Add Variety feature. If you get sick of a track but don't want to completely ban it, you can also put it on the shelf for a while. In some cases, it might actually help to remove Thumbs-up ratings in the station details to mix things up.

Sound stops when listening to Pandora via Samsung LED Pandora App.

Is the TV connected to the receiver with a digital connection (coax, or optical)?. Try setting it to PCM on the TV Some receivers don't like it when there is a break between tracks and the signal is lost. You won't get surround (but Pandora is just stereo anyway), but you can still use the Receiver's Dolby or DTS features to go multispeaker. Downside if of course that if you have other Multichannel audio sources through the TV, they may be lost. But it's worth checking..

Sir i have 4.1 creative inspire woofers. before some times it plays nicely with 5.1 creative sound card .but one day i played my system to listen a song then i heard hummming noise is comming from woofers...

Any faulty cable without ground used for analogue signals will give rise to the humming noise. If you are finding it difficult even after changing such cables, check the earthing of your PC with the mains outlet. Remove the card, clean the pcb contacts with an eraser & check.

Hi, I'm about 40 miles NW of Chicago and reception here is not great. I like to listen to AM radio. I usually use my speakers just to listen to CD's, but I decided to try my Acoustic Research receivers...

First make certain the CD player isn't on when the radio is on. CD players cause inteferance with radio's. Apart from that you will need a good aerial. If that doesn't improve it then it could be down to local conditions -hills, power lines etc, blocking the signal. Also check there's nothing around the house that might cause interferance to the signal.

I have Hitachi AX-M83 system. While deleting a song from USB stick, it asked "Del File" Now my question is how many songs does a file have? Because USB stick showed 31 tracks stored,...

The number of songs you can store has to do with the size of the USB. Now the file itself has a size and make sure your system has enough space for the file.
