but most likely it was for misconduct and it will list how long he was banned for
Microsoft won't tell you why he was banned, but if your son didn't mod his system then its because of misconduct. Now I bought a used 360 that was banned and I contacted xbox support they pretty much told me tough cookie. I do know that microsoft will target and kill modified systems. So its not worth it to mess with your system. So I'm sorry but your son will have to buy a new system if he was banned for life or learn from him mistake and play nice. Because micro$oft is all about money and not customer satisfaction.

Most likely due to misconduct, or having a modified system. Usually the first one.

How did you find out he was suspended? Was he playing a game and was notified or did he try to sign up and was notified?
What I need to know is if he was suspended from just playing a particular game online (like Halo) or from xbox live completely.
