My Hoover carpet cleaner does not **** up water.
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
Usually on the Hoover’s the have suction when you remove the recovery tank and from there you need to back track to see if there is a clog of some type or obstruction that is blocking the carpet cleaner from picking up the excess water, if you find that it is from the bottom, use and old wire coat hanger and create a hook on the end and that way you can pull out and remove any obstruction that might be in the way in order to get suction again, or the recovery tank might need a new gasket or it’s not sitting on the vacuum correctly.
