My screen is not showing, only the songs are playing. I happened to mess up and hit repeat. How do I get out of this. Also wanted to shuffle my songs but don't know how.

Hey Chitor. Did you drop it in a glass of water? :p Ok, to undo the repeat song mode, turn the Clip on, press the right button once, up button once, right button once, down button four times, and right button twice. Now press the "Home" button up and to the right of the navigation buttons. Make sure you follow these instructions exactly! Who knows what could happen if you miss a step. :) Hope this helps!

Keeps repeating

You can simply "set the repeat mode" to OFF:

1. Play the song.
2. Tap the now playing screen.
3. On the Now Playing screen, you will now see play and volume controls at the bottom of the screen. At the top is track information. Under the album title is a scrubbing bar that indicates the time remaining in the song.
4. A small icon that looks like two circular arrows is on the left side below the scrubbing bar. Tap this icon once to repeat the album. The icon will turn blue when repeat is activated.
5. Tap the icon again to repeat the current song. The icon will change to show the number 1 inside a blue circle.
6. Touch the icon a third time to cancel any repeat. The icon will turn white when it's deactivated.

Hi, the ipod on my iphone plays the same song unless I change it

The problem is that your iPod is currently set to "Repeat One" meaning that it will continuously play the same song until you tell it otherwise. To resolve this, play the current song and you should see some type of album art on the screen or a music note if no album art is available. At the top of the screen there should be a progress bar showing you how far into the song you currently are, if this is not visible tap once on the album art and it should appear. You will notice an icon in the lower left that looks like two arrows pointing to the tail of the other arrow, it should currently be blue with a small "1" in the lower left of it. Tap this icon once and your iPod will exit the "Repeat One" mode and will now play the next song after the current one finishes. Hope this helps!

There are possible corrupted files on your player.

My songs are shuffled

Since you cannot see what you are doing on the screen, I will tell you what buttons to push to un-shuffle your songs. Press the buttons in the exact order I tell you. Ok. Turn off the mp3 player, then turn it back on. Press the little menu button. Push the left arrow button once. Press the play button 3 times slowly. You are now in the menu that gives you the following options to unshuffle your music:
1. Off
2. Repeat single Track
3. Shuffle/No Repeat
4. Repeat all Tracks
5. Repeat all With Shuffle

I'm guessing that you may have to push the down arrow once or the up arrow once. This should select the Repeat all Tracks option. After scrolling up or down one time, press the play button once, then the menu button twice. Now push play to start your music. If this does not work, you can set your player back to the default settings by pushing the menu button once, pushing left arrow once, hit the play button. Scroll down 5 times, hit the play button, and push down 3 times. Be careful, because if you do not push the down arrow THREE times, you might accidentally select the option of erasing the memory.Once you push down 3 times and hit the play button, push down once more to select Yes of reseting your player back to it's original settings. This should help you out.

Nano clone problems

Hey - I found a solution - once you begin to play a file hit 'menu' and you will see a variety of choices - if you have selected 'intro' - guess what? it will play only 10 seconds of the selection. You must change the setting to normal in this screen. You will be able to tell because there is a little red box with a letter in it in the display screen when a file is playing. If the letter is 'i' - you are in intro mode - I just fixed mine
hope this helps

Getting go gear to play all songs in drive

Go to "Repeat All" - it will repeat all songs ONCE they have played vs. "Repeat One" which will repeat the same song over and over again.
