Stop vacuum from blowing to suction…..

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
You’re vacuum is blowing because your (round vacuum) belt is on backwards and is blowing instead of having suction – please reverse the belt and most vacuums have a diagram on the bottom of the vacuum to tell you which way to install. Not knowing the brand name or model #, if you have Questions, Contact you local vac dealer. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Why does the suction stop after 10 minutes of use on my Dyson DC43?

Your vacuum may be overheating and shutting off the suction motor. Clean the cyclone assembly and the filters to see if they could be restricting the airflow.

Suction stopped. Roller and belt working-in fine order. Checked hoses have not found any blockage. Blowing out air or sucking so little can't feel it with hand on hose end. Help!

Either a blockage or the main air filter is blocked , some it can be washed and others it must be replaced

I would check the owner manual and look at the filter, foam ones can and usually have instructions where they install to wash them.

When trying to use shop vac for suction, at the same time the space for blowing is operating. how do i stop this blowing process so i can use it as a vacuum?

On the shop vac there should be 2 places to insert the hose. One for blowing air and the other for suction.

Suction stopped working immediately

There is a hose on the unit. Disconnect it at both ends. Stretch it out. Look down it. If you can't see down it, rod it out.

No suction from base or hose attachment

Hi,
I had the same problem with my Eureka vacuum cleaner. I don't have the problem with the beater bar, but I had the problem with the attachment hose not getting any suction. I found out that I was putting attachment on the wrong end of the hose. The end that you use in the front. Don't how I got that confused because it always worked before. Hope this helps with the hose part of the problem.

Rainbow vacuum-water not spinning

Remove hose and turn on the unit with nothing on the intake - see if it helps - feel the suction with hand.

a) If it works fine without the hose - look for a clog in the hose, wand or the nozzle

b) If the suction is weak even without the hose:
Clean the separator,
If this is e-series or E2 Rainbow - remove HEPA and try vacuuming without it (sometimes it is too dirty so stops good airflow). New HEPAs HERE.
If this is SE Rainbow - remove exhaust cap and if there is a sponge - take it out

Still no luck - It has to be serviced

Good Luck,
Rocky
