Question about Computers & Internet
I need to forward UDP ports 5198 & 5199 on my Pix 501 using the web based interface. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Go into the GUI and pull up the command line tool
I am presuming that you named your interfaces inside and outside. ( It's like that by default )
In the box put in the following information one line at a time
Replace the XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX with the IP address of the system you want them forwarded to.
static (inside,outside) udp interface 5199 XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX 5199 netmask 255.255.255.255 0 0
static (inside,outside) udp interface 5198 XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX 5198 netmask 255.255.255.255 0 0
access-list 100 permit udp any host XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX eq 5198
access-list 100 permit udp any host XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX eq 5199
You should be good to go.
