The connector is a vertical connectors which links the drawer to the machine. As you are facing the back of the machine, the connector is on the left side next to the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) connector. The ADF connector is horizontal.

Power OFF the machine.
Unplug the vertical connector in the back of the machine by pushing down on the button at the rear of the plug and pulling toward you. It may be difficult to remove the plug; you need to push down on the button and pull toward you at the same time
Plug the one vertical connector back into the machine.
Power ON the machine.
