Question about HP PSC 1210 All-In-One InkJet Printer

HP PSC 1210

My printer will not respond to anything. 2 orange lights are flashing indicating check paper and cartridge i have already checked these and it still is not working.

    The orange check print cartridge light won't stop blinking.  I put in a new ink cartridge, but nothing happens.  Printer won't work.  The copies light is E.
    What should I do?

If you already chek the catridge and paper that is good chek the rod also on whch printer heads move if it possible apply any lubricant oil on it and see the head is movine properly.just do this it will work and let me

Check cartridge check print paper light and


remove color or black cartridge, close the lid, let the printer initialize, and then reopen lid and add 2nd printer cartridge...
this should sove the problem

Try to unplug the power cord at the back of the printer while it is still on. After 20 to 30 seconds plug it back in.

well..you may need to remove the software, and re install it...

and also, unplug the printer for around 5 min

Hi My first quesiton to you would be: What version of windows are you using. If you are using Windows Vista you will need to go to the HP Site and download the new updated drivers for the new OS. Second Question : Are you using genuine HP printer catriges? If so make sure the contact point where the catrigr and the printer meet are clean and free of dust. Try re seating the cartriges and re calibrating th printer. I checked with HP online tech support and they backed me on this.
