Where can i find a hanger bracket for Model 42-cl?

Try Switchco at 1-800-365-4548, they have a few styles of hangers. Maybe they can help you. Can't hurt to ask.

My flush ceiling fan is wobbling and hitting against the ceiling making an awful noise. How do I fix that issue?

The fan blades appear to be out of balance. First, check the screws that hold the fan blade irons to the fan motor. Tighten all that may be loose. If that doesn't solve the problem. the fan hanger bracket behind the ceiling cowl cover may be loose (it's attached with thin screws). In addition, the electrical box, that the hanger is attached to, may have come loose from the ceiling joist. If the electrical box has come loose, the box will need to be reattached to the joist with 1 1/2" long screws.

Hope this helps to solve the problem.

Do not have room for a remote control receiver in my ceiling fan. Can i just buy a new hanger bracket that has the mounting room.

Hello, your installation will determine if you can use another type of hanging bracket. If you require that the fan must be mounted close to the ceiling there might be a way to install the remote by using plastic wire ties to sucure the receiver. There are many fans that state NOT FOR USE WITH REMOTE. Please check to see if your fan is one of thoes. If ceiling height is not a issue then a new hanger bracket should do the trick. Make sure that the bracket and the installation location will support the weight of your fan. SAFETY FIRST

No outlet box in ceiling, it has a hook is there a special bracket, my home was built in the 1940s and the ceiling fan in the kitchen was hung with a hookin the ceiling, there is no electrical outlet in...

They sell brackets at home stores, but I have nailed a 2x4 between ceiling joists & mounted an electrical box at proper height. If you aren't good with electrical, get an electrican to run power for you.
The hanger must be SOLID & the wiring GOOD.
