Ok i have a toshiba satellite P105-s6024. i have windows xp. i think i have a virus
cuz when i turn on my computer im suppose to click my name, and it will say "loading personal settings" then its suppose to cut to the regular windows background with my icons., BUT the problem is after it says "loading personal settings" it goes to a 1 sec quick flash to my desktop then says Shutting down. so it wont let me on my computer basically. i think its a virus. now i dont have my recovery disk i lost it and my warranty is up. what shoul i do? will buying a new windows operatin disk or whatever from walmart work or do i have to somehow order the recovery disk from toshiba? help appreciated..thanks!
First ensure that the problem you have explained is due to a VIRUS or Laptop related.Remove the hard drive from your laptop and turn it ON and check if it remains ON until you SWITCH OFF, if yes then you could install MS Win XP or any OS supported and download the drivers for the OS from the manufacturer's web site and install them all one by one . It definitely would work
