Question about Toshiba Consumer (TV/DVD/etc) Progressive Scan DVD/VCR Combo
I have a 3 yr old toshiba television that has a faulty ir module which means that the remote, at this point, is pretty much useless. Question: Is there any way to access the video mode on said television without using the remote? Is there any of playing dvds short of replacing the ir module (uneconomical) or buying a new tv?
Thanks in advance
Are you sure it is not a faulty remote. Test it with digital camera and if the remote is faulty repair iit according to my instructions here: http://www.google.co.nz/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.instructables.com%2Fid%2FRepair-your-remote-controls%2F&ei=mpVVSrr6O4_-sgP0-oDPDg&usg=AFQjCNGyomjVuVMr6mFT1L36ffi06FhCDg&sig2=kheNi9TulBWzmhGOMiIX7g
