Question about Polaroid iZone 300 Digital Camera
Camera will not hold charge...about 2 yrs old..can not find how to change battery..can only remove memory card...everything else has screws???
I took my izone 300 apart and replaced the battery with one purchased from Digiplant on Ebay for $9.98, shipping included. The battery is a Lithium Polymer 3.7 volt, 280 Mah, but I used a 3.7 volt, 550 Mah. It improves the battery life immensly and the flash never fails like it did on occasion when it was new. Hope this helps everyone looking for a replacement battery.

I took the camera apart via shadowligers vague instructions. I found out the camera has 3 screws on the bottom, 2 are underneath the sticker. so that is how you don't break it taking it apart. The camera is held together with the screws only so once you take out all 11 screws you are good to go. the battery says tjl 402334 280mah on it.
hopefully I can get a replacement on ebay or something.

This is not a complete solution to your battery problem but hopefully its enough to help you since polaroid has the worst customer service possible.
the link above is a picture of my izone 300w who at the moment is suffering from the battery problem as well i decided to open it to see the battery. though if you decide to open it i suggest you not only be mildly forceful but all so cautious since the bottom where the card slot may break.(some small pieces snapped off. )
the battery is the small silver thing you see in the picture. this battery is 280mAH battery its small and almost as thin as a credit card. if you want to change the battery try looking for one that looks almost the same or try and mp3/mp4 player battery. for example zen micro. i suggest looking through the internet for the internal batteries but if that search fails buy a cheap small rechargeable mp3 player that you wont feel so bad about breaking and taking it battery.
hopefully this helps. good luck

After opening up the izone 300, were you able to replace the battery?

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
