Question about Dell Latitude C640 Notebook
Hi i posted a question about a week ago about my sound troubles that i have been experiencing with my dell lattitude c640 notebook, and i have tried everything i can think of including what you have suggested for me to do, and still the problem still exists, so now i am stuck with a constant nagging sound that shuts off every time i load windows and will not return unless my laptop is on stand by mode, so that means i am unable to listen to anything that requires sound on my laptop, it is totally frustrating for me, as i need the sound everyday to view the programs that i need, also i have been recognizing that whenever i go on youtube and the sound is there i will hear a bit of sound but as soon as the sound shuts off my video will too, it will stick and it won't continue to play, so i d k if the sound problems is contributing to my video troubles as well, so if anyone can offer any advice for this nagging problem pls, feel free to email me and let me know.
What I would do is buy a Soundblaster 24 Pc card,( like $20.00 off e-bay) Put it in with the creative drivers and it should override all other drivers. If not go into Device manager and disable origiginal onboard sound. Worth a shot. mark007
