Question about Insignia 37" LCD Flat-Panel HDTV
I just bought the 37 in lcd 2 days ago. I recently tried to hook it up to my comcast, General Instrument, cable box but as soon as the cable touched the tv a spark flew out of where they touched. I Have no clue what it could be. I've never had a prob. with the box before nor does it do the same with any of my other tv's(all non-hd standard tube). I've connected over the air antennas, and a vcr through it and they all had no problem... this only happens when I connect the cable box to it. any help is appreciated
The cable has a bad ground and you should contact the cable provider to get things right. The cable can carry AC voltage and if there is a isolation problem it could blow the TV if you try to hook it up.
