Question about Samsung SGH-U600
I have had my phone for 3 weeks and yesterday the screen only showed about 1/3 lit up with a curve across it and the rest black. I took it to the dealer and they say it is cracked and I need to buy a new one for US$ 100. They said it gets cracked real easy, and that if I had dropped it or knocked it against anything then it would have cracked the LCD screen. I do not recall knocking it against anything and also never dropped it. No marks on it or anything. What I want to know is if I replace the screeen will I keep having problems with damaged screens? I carry it in my pocket.
I had a similar problem with a phone of mine. I purchased a new screen from http://www.repairsuniverse.com
Came quickly, and they provided full instructions how to fit. Really happy with the service.
They currently sell the U600 screen for $40, much less than the prices mentioned above.
Hope this helps
