Question about HP OfficeJet 7410 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have replaced the color cartridge now with 2 new ones and still get a 'remove and check color cartridge' error. I ran the self test report and the blue line is not full (although the cartridge is new). The green has a yellow bar at the end of it and the violet has a magenta bar at the end of it. I have cleaned the heads......HELP!!!!!
Check the color side of the carriage....there is a metal piece in there that breaks free from the side and will "stab" the circuitry board that the cartridge comes in contact with...you will probably see a hole in it...I have replaced several print carriages...fairly common problem with all of the HP printers that use the 96 and 97 cartridges...hope this helps
