Driver blocked due to incompatibility. Spy weeper has one or more driver with known incompatibilitie with this version of windows (vista).

Update your version of Spy Sweeper. This issue has already been fixed by Webroot.

I am trying to reinstall my HP Deskjet F4400 printer...nothing happens when I put the CD in.


It can happen due to the CD surface being scratched. This is a common with CDs. You should instead download the driver files from the internet and install the driver. During installation, it will ask you to connect the printer. If not then let it complete and restart PC. Connect your printer and it should install automatically.

Click here to open the support website where you can choose you driver file. Select the model that describes your printer best. On the next page, choose your Windows vesion and it will take you to a page where you can download the driver. Its free but you need a fast internet connection or else it will take a long time.

If you have problem searching through, download the drivers I found appropriate. Note that they may not work if you have an incompatible printer or OS so please try the above method or let me know your printers model and Windows version.

This message has nothing to do with your router. Windows 7 is not recognizing your network adapter card possibly due to an incompatible driver.

You need to ensure that your network card has a driver that is compatible with Windows 7 and is installed and working properly.

If you right click on My Computer on the desktop and choose Manage look for Device Manager in the left pane and click on it. Now in the right pane you should see a listing for Network Adapters. First of all if it is yellow with an question mark it means that the driver either is not installed or is not functioning. you will need to find the driver for that network card and install it.

If it looks ok check the version by right clicking on it and selecting properties. Confirm with the vendor that this driver is Windows 7 compatible. If not you may be able to find a generic Microsoft driver that will work.

If that all fails you will need to get and install another network card that is compatible with this operating system.

researching this problem has led me to find that no drivers are good for vista... the update is your 1st choice..

next choice is replacing the card with another one thats vista compatible...

Downgrade Acer M1641 from Vista home premium to Windows XP


Its a driver incompatibility issue. Many hardware components designed for Vista are incompatible with XP. This means that the Realtek audio driver may be the Vista version. Also, some hardware has of yet no XP drivers, so your audio components were designed for Vista only.
While it may be possible to "force" the driver to work, it may involve a number of hacks to the Windows registry and other files.

Seems like something in the WIRELESS DRIVER has become corrupted maybe due to a virus or something.

1) DOWNLOAD Malware-Bytes AntiMalware and do a scan if you don't already have an antivirus.

2) DOWNLOAD a new version of the driver:

Sorry i can't find the Vista version of the driver, and also there are 3 Variations of the driver downlaod the one which you have.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHICH DRIVER YOU HAVE FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

  1. On the desktop right-click on My Computer and click Properties or open the Control Panel and double-click the System icon.
  2. In the System Properties window click the Hardware tab.
  3. In the Hardware tab click the Device Manager button.

It's your Webroot Spy Sweeper that's having problems - it may be related to your antivirus or firewall (try updating them), or if you're using Vista there's an incompatibility with the automatic update. Some of the possibilities can be found on Webroot's support site -

Start with updating Spy Sweeper to the latest version (by manual update) and then branch out.

My Satellite A200 will not start sign says resuming windows and the screen goes black and windows does not start. Windows VISTA BASIC installed


I would suggest you disconnect your Satellite A200,then restart Vista to get it up and going.Then go check in Device Manager, which you get in Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager.In the dropdown list under Sound/Video and Game controllers,find your A200 open it by clicking on it and see what the problem is {very likely a driver clash or Vista incompatible driver}.Uninstall the device until you find the correct driver software.Regards.Georgeo
