Question about Lexmark JetPrinter Z22 Color InkJet
A friend bought a brand new Lexmark Color JetPrinter Z22 and accidently plugged it on a 220 Voltage power and that that was it. After trying to restore the power pack, the printer wouldn't function to any command nor operation. And also the power and print buttons do not function.
Can you help please!!!
I would assume if your printer was hooked up to that high a voltage you would need to buy a replacement part for the power supply. Lexmark website states to replace it with a "Class 2" 20 volt dc at 500ma. Basically you just need to contact Lexmark and get the part and have a printer specialist install the new power supply. You could also try another power cable as well. Sometimes the cable is just fried and nothing is wrong with the printer.
