On our phones it's "Feature **admin" to get into the settings.
Push the button that corresponds with the right arrow that shows on the screen until you see "Names"
push the top right arrow to get into it, and you will see "set names",
push top right arrow again to get into it,
scroll right until you see the set # you want to change,
press the button corresponding with "Change" and type it in.

Names are different on voicemail and extentions how do I change them on the voicemail

Hi Denise,
You should generally delete and re-add mailboxes when someone new takes over an extension. It allows the new person to customize the mailbox from scratch.

If all you want is to change the name, go:
Feature 983
Password: 1020000
Select Mbox
Enter the Mailbox number
Hit Next until you see the name, and then select change.
Enter in the new name, press next, and then hang up.

If you have the software you can get in and program via station assignment.
If you admin, programmed on any ext you can program.
If not we can remote into your system and change them.

Cannot change name ID for each extension, shows old names

Read several on-line manuals and found out another way to access programming trees. It was a confusing mess and was mostly trial and error. The 4 keys under the read out screen are a key factor and knowing how those buttons interact with each other is important. In the process I screwed up regular functions because the password that allows set-up using the feature codes cannot be changed. Not a user friendly set-up at all and the initial manual virtually useless for some needs.
