My tv cuts off then it won't come back on when powered on the power button light just keeps flashing. After unplugging tv for 20-25 mins it will come back on

CRT screens use a vacuum tubes for displaying purposes. These tubes warn off through time and use, with symptoms like colours fading out, late responce on start and even quit doing what they suppose to do.
My solution is to replace the warn tube with a new one,if you really want to keep this screen properly functional, but this could get to much trouble and cost maybe.

I am using a lenovo all in one ideacentre computer. The screen goes black for a few seconds then comes back

The screen goes black then comes back. When it comes back are you able to use the computer without any problems? When does this happen? Most times during the boot process the screen will fade in and out.

If this is not happening when you boot the system it's possible that your lcd screen might be going bad so keep an eye on it.

Color fades at bottom of screen

Although it is possible that your monitor is defect, you should first run a monitor test to see if you just need to adjust some of the settings. Go to this webpage and just follow the instructions.
The test are done best in full screen mode (F11 in most browsers).

Do you have any sources of magnetic fields next to the monitor (speakers, halogen lights, sometimes even a cordless phone can cause distortion).

If you can, connect this monitor to another computer and see if the problem persists. This way you eliminate any hardware related issues (cable, video card).

If you have any more questions (also regarding the results) come back here and leave a comment. I will check back and see what else we can do.

Acer computer screen keeps fading

Do you have all of the factory Acer software installed i.e..... empowering framework, ePower manager and so on? It is a common thing with Acer to have problems if all the Acer speciffic software is njot installed. Sometimes the batt. wont charge or won't be recognized among other issues. Make sure you have framework 1.1 installed and all relavent Acer software for your computer. Then reboot and see if it helps. If your like me you dont like all the bundled BS that comes with PC's but it's almost a have to when it comes to Acer. I hope this helps.

Screen partical fade

The inverter cable or lvds cable may be severed. I've recently replaced a display on a Titanium for this reason. If your machine is under applecare, you should submit it for lcd panel replacement. If your machine is not covered by applecare, they may charge you in upwards of $700 for the procedure. Depending on 3rd party apple service locations in your area, you may have to source the part off your local craigslist, ebay, or a 3rd party site like www.welovemacs.com. If not, you can ship it to us in NYC.
