Fujifilm A350 When the carmera is on the video mode the screen shows (No image) When it is on the camera mode it works look a video.

Troubleshoot by connecting the video cable from the yellow A/V output port of the camera to the video input port of you TV to see if you get video image on the TV screen. You need to set the switch in your camera to video mode (middle) and PAL or NTSC. If you do not see video picture with the camera on then you know that your camera video/movie mode is not working.

Could be your camera is still working, but some settings are messed up?
You could have turned off the display. In the menu with IMAGE DISP. Is used to save battery power.
Then try making pictures in the mode automatic. Because if you switched to scene like bright sunlight or snow your pictures can be very dark.

Fujifilm A350 blurry pictures
Hey johannek,
What is most likely going on is the camera settings were changed somehow while out for service. What you are seeing is either digital noise the file quality has been changed. I always suggest setting a camera to the highest possible setting because you can always reduce an images size, but you can never increase the images size. If that's not the cause of your problem it is most likely digital noise, which is usually caused by the cameras sensor being set too sensitive (too high of an ISO). I would make sure both of these camera settings are set right. I hope this helps!

Recording stopped working
Beleive the CCD has stopped responding. A cheap way to verify this is to point an infrared remote towards the lens and press a key. This will usually provoke a response from the camera even if all else fails, barring a bad pickup device...accordianman

A340 camera
Update Firmware.

I went to fujifilm website and followed the instruction they provided there. The new XD card worked after I installed the new firmware.
