Question about Audio Players & Recorders
All of a sudden the volume, bass & treble indicators are at the maximum settings. I'm unable to move the settings up or down. I have disconnected and reconnected the system with no results. Also, I have cleaned the jacks and the sub-woofer again with no results. I dare not open the main speaker for fear of damaging it. I'm controlling the volume via the volume control on the computer. However, this is not feasible because different situations require a quick volume adjustment which I'm not able to. Please help.
The controller chip inside your altec is possibly defective. i have the acs 45.1 and the unit wont turn on.. the culprit is the main power/volume chip.
