Question about Brother DCP 130C All-In-One InkJet Printer
Better use this generic ink carts, which work pretty much better than the original ones :o
(LC1000 is identical to LC51)
There is much trouble by refilling original carts, because of the ink which might clog the ph.
Anyway if you keen on inky-fingers, malfunction ph and maybe bad printing results:

Be brave and have a go, buy the correct ink refill for your selection of cartridges, the packaging on the refill kits will tell you if your printer is included. Once you find one for yours, instructions come with it. I think your cartridges have plastic ones don't they? Make sure when you fill with syringe you follow instructions very closely to avoid air bubbles and always run a clean when you put it back in. I refill all the time, and each time i refill (i get 7-8 refills each cartridge now the way i do it) i am saving $80.00 both cartridges. This can be most of a thousand dollars a year for me.

SOURCE: Refilled my Dell Ink Cartridge
It's never going to recognize a product that is not original even if it's refilled in the Dell cartridge. That's happened to me--you get used to it. Dell just wants you to get it from THEM and not from any where else. I have a 922 All-in-One....It's been good for the past 3 years.
