On the desktop > at the right hand side of taskbar you will see clock .just double click on it open Date and Time properties from there it's very easy to change the time.........
If you are unable to do this, click on start > click on Control Panel > now double click on Date and Time icon ..Now you can change your time on the display.............

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Sony MHC ec77 CD player works fine, great sound but when I switch to AM/FM, why is there no sound although the display shows that is going through the stations?

Unlike old analog tuners, the new digital tuners will not output any sound or static if they do not lock onto a station.

Will you fix a Sony MHC-GX450?

It is probably a bad solder joint in the unit. The problem with these is they were never designed to be repaired and take a lot of time to get to the part that is defective. I have worked on a lot of small home systems and it is due to the repair headaches that I tell people not to buy them. When they break and they all do much sooner than individual components that is when you pay for a whole better system that you could have had in the first place.
I can look at the unit or contact me a skywavebe@sbcglobal.net.

My Sony MHC-RX30 3 cd changer will not play-- It says "no disc" when there are discs present. Someone told me that the laser lens could be dirty- Any help would be appreciated

Hi Tom,

First of all, thank you for posting your question here at Fixya.com.

The symptoms you've described "No disc Error" is a fault when the optical lens failed to read the disc on its assembly. Yes, one caused of this symptoms is a dirty optical lens due to fine foreign object build-up on the optical lens itself like dust and static electricity build-up.

I would advice you to clean the lens using the CD disc lens cleaner. Play it at least two times to the unit to clean the dirt and static electricity build up. Most of this symptoms resolve by lens cleaning alone.

However, after playing the disc lens cleaner on the unit and still the symptoms persist, this is an indication that the optical lens is faulty. You have to replaced it with new one. Click it here for the replacement.

Before you replaced the optical lens, observe the disc if will spin or not upon playing, if yes then the problem is the optical lens, if not, the fault is on the disc assembly, you have to replaced the entire disc assembly. Contact this LINK to inquire for the parts.

Hope I helped you.

Have a nice day!

Good luck and take care!

Rating and feedback are highly appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Mjsazon

Display screen on 501 no longer working

Needs 2 new bulbs. Very common on older NAD players.
If you look very closely you'll see the display is infact working
but just not lighting up hence the need for new bulbs.

I need then service manual for my Sony GENEZY MHC-GT555. I must clean the cd lector.

I used a long wooden stick and put a peace of cotton in one end (weeted with tap water, just moisted).
Then I introduced it through the open CD tray and wiped the sensor twice or three times.
It worked OK.
Hope it can help.
