Hi paulveldt

Very easy ! Simply go into the menu and look for the subfolder that will either read Mirror or Flip Image. Scroll down to it and press left or right until the image is back to normal.

A mountable Projector can project flat fronted ( on a table ) upside down ( on the ceiling ) rear ( from behind - on a rear projection screen ) and upside down from behind ( from the ceiling onto a rear projection screen )

This should do the trick !

Thanks for using Fixya !

What does a solid red status light on a NEC VT676

This could be a number of things. When I encountered this problem it was simply a burned out lamp. If you have not checked that make sure you do that first. Also there is a safety feature on the projectors that will not let you turn the projector on until the lamp cover is back in place. You may also want to ensure that the filter door is securely in place. After you have done this try to power up the projector (it will take a few seconds for the lamp to warm up.) If the projector starts up, go to the menu and clear the lamp hours. These projectors have lamp life's that will expire after a certain amount of time, irregardless of the functionality of the bulb. Hope this helps you out. :)

Power light is steady orange and lamp light is red but there is a new bulb in it. NEC VT676

If the unit will not power up it sounds like you may have tripped the lamp timer. You will need the remote plug the unit in and hold down the menu button on the remote for 10 seconds. The red light should go off and the unit should fire up.
Thanks Projector Guy

Reset the filter timer. (1) Turn on the projector. While the projector running, press the MENU button to open the menu. (2) Choose the “OPTION” on the menu using the up/down button, then press the right button or ENTER button. (3) Choose the “FILTER TIME” using the up/down button, then press and hold the right button of projector or the RESET button of remote control for 3 seconds. (4) Choose the “RESET” using the up button.
