I turned my laptop on because I wanted to watch Dvds on it. I put a normal Dvd disc in it, and opened Windows Media Player. It just went frozen. Then I minimised it and opened up another Dvd Program called Power Play. This had the same problem. It was frozen for about 5 minutes. Then I pressed the off button and it took for ages to turn off. I continued pressing the Power button, but the blue light kept on showing, and the fan was still going. I decided to leave it alone. After 45 minutes I came back, and the light and sound was gone. So when I tried to turn it back on, it wouldn't even start again. Please help!!
The problem first started by the laptop freezing after 5 min of startup. After some days i tried putting it on but it won't come turn on.The led power and battery indicator will not come up until i remove and re-insert the battery. When i do this, the power led and the charging indicator comes up but the laptop wont turn on when i hit the power button. How can i fix this?
Basically I get fraustrated with it and remove and replace the battery and the same with the power cable trying various different combinations while trying the power button. Works for me, I also give it a good few whacks sometimes, I don't think it helps but certainly makes me feel better.
OH, I'm told it's a loose connection between the power board and the mother board, It's an easy fix you just need to unscrew the back, remove the connection and re-connect, I haven't got around to getting a long enough screw driver yet as a couple of the screws are set in deep holes.
