This projector is only capable of handling a 150w lamp and it only is rated at 1500ansi lumens. There is no way you can do what you are asking. other than buying a 2500ansi lumen projector
The XG-A requires batteries, not just for the viewfinder, but also for the shutter. It uses two alkaline A-76 (or equivalent) or two silver-oxide EPX-76 (or equivalent).

The supply of new parts for the XG series cameras has long been discontinued. You may have better luck finding a similar model for parts or maybe even a good working one on sites like eBay or Craigslist. Even if new parts were available, it would likely cost 40-50$ for the repair.
