Failure to install D-link Air DWL-122 on Windows XP (by 3 users)

posted by JonW on Apr 30, 2008

When I tried to install DWL-122 wireless adapter on XP system, I didn't power down the computer as suggested after installing the software. Now I am stuck with a disfunctional adaptor. I tried to uninstall the D-link air utility software, but the adaptor still does not work. Is there a solution for this? Thank you very much!

I have the exact same problem, and solutions from the support website just aren't working. If someone out there can help...please do!

Some extra information...One light is lit on the adaptor when plugged in, but the other doesn't light at all or blink. I had this device working before, but then for a year was using ethernet, when i went back and tried to install again I made this mistake and now it doesn't work. HELP!
