Question about SanDisk 1GB Cruzer Titanium USB Flash Drive (413072) Hard Drive
I want to format this hunk of junk so that it acts like a simple usb drive no system with password protection etc. I can't seem to do it.Help!
The Sandisk Cruzer range are pre-installed with U3 software, which creates a read-only partition that you cannot format. This prevents the device from working on some hardware-based USB readers.
But never fear - help is at hand! After much searching of the web, I found this!
It's sandisk's own removal tool. It will allow you to reformat the device as a pure USB mass storage device.
I hope that helps!

simply right click on the new drive of memory card and click on the format. It will be formatted. and ur problem is solved.
