Im freaking out, My PS3 just fell off my TV for no reason at all. It was okay for like 10 minutes then it froze, so I turned it off. I dont know if that was a bad idea, cus now my MW2 is STUCK in there, when I pressed the eject disc buttont the first t ime, It made the eject sound but nothing ejected. Im afraid to force it out, and i cant take it apart it will void my warranty. Plus, Sony said I needed a reciept, which I do NOT have. Im so scared right now, I dont know what to do! I NEED HELP NOW! No solutions I have found that doesnt involve disesembling it have not worked! PLEASE, HELP!

okay do this again turn your ps3 off.Then you hold power till it turns on then keep holding until it turns off.Then do it again till it beeps 2 times you have to be quick or it wont work.If this dont work you need to send your ps3 in for repair as the power port may bhe faulty or power board.I could fix this if i had the ps3 right on hand i do have the newest ps3 and havent had any problems yet.get back at me with more info on this.if it works or if it dont still get back at me.
i got the same problem only with my ps3 it froze while i was playing black ops online so i turned off the power n after i restarted my ps3 he could not read any game discs anymore, im now busy with reformatting my ps3 i dont know about the xbox but maybe u also have the abbility to reformat ur system if so do it but put ur saved files on a usb stick or on somthing els cus u will loose everything but ur system gets a clean start and it checks for system errors wich come by shutting off the power wile it was not ment to and fixes them
the faint lines are nothing. its just smudging or something. the main reason why a ps3 wont play a clean bluray movie is if your system is in need of an update if you have already done that then it may be an issue to call sony with...
First thing you should try is using the regular old AV cables. That way we know if it's an hdmi problem or a video problem with the PS3. Hook them up, do the manual video reset ( hold down the power button until you hear a second beep, quickly release) and then post back here with the results.
Okay try turning on the PS3 using the PS3 controller turn it on and see the red light and use the PS3 controller by pressing the middle button the PS button
Okay the Ps3 has some problems with the 3 colour plug Red white and yellow the plug that connects from the tv to the Ps3 is the problem you should try to fix that plug it makes the screen go black rite?? so its that plug cuz i got that problem and its REALLY tiring going up to it and fixing it.
