My ge microwave spacemaker 1800 won't heat my food pls help

HI. in most cases, this will lead to a failed Heating device(magnetron tube). It would be wise to check the Magnetron cutoff fuse to be sure of its integrity. if the fuse is blown, simply replace it. if the fuse continues to show continuity, replace the magnetron.

(((The fuse is located inside the unit along side the magnetron, near the blower housing.)))

I have a GE Profile spacemaker 2.0 microwave and it just quit working on me. Sounded like a fuse popped?? I verified that the electrical outlet was working. Is there a fuse to replace inside the microwave?

Hello. You have isolated the problem.

Usually, when your microwave oven doesn't work it all, the internal fuse (thermal fuse) is blown. This fuse protects both you and the oven. When it blows, you need to have a qualified appliance repair technician replace it.

GE Spacemaker Microwave

yes there is. the fuse should be located behind the vent grill on the right side above the control panel. there may be a metal "grate" covering the access to it

2 year old ge profile spacemaker Microwave lost all power

Inside unit is a cylinder fuse which can blow for a number of reasons. External cover needs to be removed to access. If you are confident in doing this and can find & check the fuse then it would be my first guess. If fuse is OK then you will need to have repaired. If fuse isblown & you replace then it blows again, you will need to have repaired. regards
