I have an AC450NX Server Platform with an AK450NX motherboard and the following components installed:
Mylex DAC1100 on a 32 bit PCI-slot
Intel Pro 1000 on a 64 bit PCI-slot
QLogic 2100F on a 64 bit PCI-slot
Buslogic SCSI on a 32 bit PCI-slot
with 4 Xeon III 500 MHz 2MB L2 cache
With the above configuration, during bootup we get the following error:
PCI Error 0148h.
We have come across this error during bootup numerous times. Can you assist us in resolving this problem? The system boots up fine but since this is a MS SQL
Production server which is heavily used, we are concerned.
Please inform.
Thanks in Advance,
Eva Pego

Dear Eva:
There have not been any issues of this nature reported with the AC450NX
Server. There was a similar issue however on the AD450NX Server when
using certain versions of the AMI MegaRAID card. The issue was resolved
by upgrading to the latest revision of the MegaRAID card. You may want
to check with the card manufacturer and see what version of the bios and
driver for the card that they recommend for your configuration. If you
are continuing to have the issue, you may want to try removing a card at
a time to see if this is being caused by a specific card and which one
it is. You may also want to upgrade the motherboard firmware and bios.
The latest versions of the firmware/bios are at url:
http://support.intel.com/suppo rt/motherboards/server/AC450nx /software...
If you should need to repost we are going to need the following
information from you:
- S-Spec number of processors
- PBA numbers of major boards in the system
- BIOS and Firmware revisions of system and adapters
- Amount of memory and memory Part number
