Question about Samsung NV10 Digital Camera

New user i'm a new user of NV10...i don't know how to charge my camera..and should i turn the power on with long press or short press? help me..thanks

You can charge your camera directly or by using the cradle that came with your camera. With either option you use the USB port on your PC as the power source OR the wall adapter as the power source. You can see images to do this on the User's Manual on pages 11-12.

You can turn on the power with either a long or a short press. You will get a good idea how long a press should be by counting from the time you press the button to the time the display comes on. This is usually 1-3 seconds.

Make sure that the adapter is having the charging voltage and is available at the terminal of the camera. If so the battery must be changed and you will need to contact the Samsung dealership close to your place for support.

Samsung nv10 digital camera, the lense is stuck in zoom position. if i turn on my camer i cant get it to close and then it shuts off


Hi! As a first course of action please remove the battery and press hold the power button for 10secs. while the battery is removed. Install the batter, turn it on and see how it goes.

Yes! you may need a new battery in that case, rechargeable batterie die over time. The sysmptoms you're saying definitely indicates loss of power and battery replacement should fix it. :)

Samsung NV10 Charging problem


I had the same problem while charging the camera with the cradle. I tried charging directly with the camera and it looks good. Problem seems to come from the cradle itself. Phil
