Server starts but dont seem to have a bios
The machine is complete it was given to me by a friend.
Yet when it starts it goes throuh post,but yet the screen is blanke and it ust seems to run without any kind of direction

Can you provide the entire sequence from switch-on displayed on your monitor

open the cabinate and put the cmos battery from motherboard .
if there is problem is still now then put the new battery in moterboard.
start the computer and press DEL key from the keyboard and select the default loading and press 'F10' key press ENTER TO CONTINOUS.
If here is problem is still runing then boot the system from any boot-able cd and format the the unknown parttion or create the partion from unlocated space on harddisk. and install the one more operating system. if do u not know how to intall the operating system then you can send me message on my email id rahul_sh2989@yahoo.com
