Question about Meade ETX-90 (48x90 mm)

1 Answer

One of the gears in the Azimuth motor got a flat spot because the worm gear was adjusted too tight. It is a 24 tooth nylon straight gear, very small- only about 1 cm across, but if this gear isn't working then the azimuth motor makes a good doorstop!! Who knows where to get replacement parts for these badly designed telescopes?

How do u do a 75 degree angle

Draw a straight line up, and draw another straight-line below it. Cut 15-degree off it. And that's it.

Cross hairs are tilted to right while scope is straight

Without seeing the rifle, my guess would be that either the rings were not tight enough or the lens came loose from the shot. It is rare depending on the quality of the scope. If the lens itself moved, it will not be waterproof or fog proof because the seal on the lens is not tight. If its under warranty then it should be replaced, if not then be care full not to get it too wet. If you had a suction cup, you could try to reposition it straight again.

Adjustments do not hold and adjustment knobs don't always work.

ok im just guessing, but if you look around the outside you may see tiny holes that are filled with filler and underneath those will be set screws, with a fine screw driver you can tighten them. if not then problem is internal.good luck...larry@reichinstruments.com

Need pictorial to reassemble crosman m1 air gun

zoom out to the minimum or mid of your scopes capabilities depending on the range you will be shooting from most frequently. then get ready to lay out some pellets. fire in groups of three. and walk tour adjustment knobs into your crosshairs. under your dial caps or mabey on the outsode you'll find L--> and up--> markings with arrows indicating how to turn it to make your adjustments tight. great hunting. but start on a windless day. lol not too common in WY
