Shut system down and unplug for 5 minutes. Make sure sensor bar is positioned correctly to properly read wiimotes. If this does not correct the problem then you are going to have to reformat the Wii.

Cant get the cursor to show on screen

Make sure that your Sensor Bar is connected properly and that there is no damage to the wire connect it to the Wii.

You may have to place the Sensor Bar else where and reconfigure it to work again.

Getting an error code 109139 how can i fix this ????

According to Nintendo it means your WiiConnect24 is not enabled.
"WiiConnect24 allows the console to receive downloads even when the console isn't in active use, as long as it has a working connection to the internet. The types of information that can be received include News and Weather, messages posted to the Wii Message Board, and any messages sent by Nintendo about new Wii console features."
Fix Problem: To Access the WiiConnect24 setting:
  1. Access the Wii System Settings (How To Shown Below)
  2. Move the cursor over the blue arrow on the right and and select it once to reach System Settings 2.
  3. Choose "WiiConnect24.

How to Access the System Settings

  1. With the Wii console properly connected, power on the console to reach the Wii Channel menu.
  2. Use the Wii Remote to move the cursor over the "Wii" button in the bottom-left corner of the screen and press the A Button.
  3. From the main Wii Menu and System Settings screen, use the Wii Remote to move the cursor over the "Wii Settings" option (wrench).settings.gif
  4. Press the A Button to enter the System Settings.

Hope This helps Giles102

I cannot get my Wii remote to move the cursor so I can click on to the net flix channel. What button do I push?

The WiiMote cursor is moved by you pointing the WiiMote at the screen. The cursor will move based on the signals it receives from the sensor bar, which shoudl be placed at the top or bottom of your TV.

Wii fit profile calendar shows 2007 instead of 2009. Can only advance forward to 2008.

This cannot be fixed from the wii fit menu. Instead, go to the main wii console menu. In the lower left corner, there is an icon for "settings". The date & time can be changed from there.

When you go back to the wii fit it may tell you it's been 700 or so days when you last worked out. But the date will be fixed.

If you have been using the wii fit for any length of time, DO NOT delete your wii fit profile as this will cancel out any new excercises or balance games you have opened up with your profile.

Yea when im playing my wii when its like a shooting game i am aming the wii remote right at the sensor bar but it keeps moving and their is nothing blocking the sensor. please help me

This is pretty common, the sensor bar is horrible inaccurate. Try going into your wii settings menu (the wii button on the main menu, then wii settings). Under here you will have a sensor bar option. You can reposition it in the menu there, it has some adjustments as well. Unfortunately it's almost never accurate, which is quite sad, and frustrating when you need to be accurate.

Hope this helps, give that menu a try.

In wii Boom Blox, the cursor with the remote has become reversed

When you get to the wii menu, with the icons. On the lower left hand corner, youll see an icon where you can access settings. Click on this, from there go to the option that says "Sensor Bar" If its not on the first row, Just select the arrows opposite each other on the sides of the screen. From there you can diagnose your problems.

Wii remote cursor not working in Wii Menu

I find it very irratating to navigate the wii menu as well. It seems our problem is the remote is very very sensitive to the sensor bar. You have to swing the remote around a bit to find the 'hand' you use to click on where you want to go. also, I find that I first have to press A when the menu comes, then almost have the remote 3 inches from the sensor bar. I have also tried putting the sensor bar in different loactions. Like, if we are playing standing up, we put the bar atop of the tv, otherwise if it is a game we can play while sitting, we put the sensor bar under the tv, on the stand (this is a 20") Try moving yours around and find out what works best for you. But it is frustrating as I too find that the remote is too dag 'on sensitive!! Even though I know it's fussy, we still have the problem daily, doen't get any easier! I hope this suggestion helps.

Wii Cursor Does Not Appear

I had the problem where the cursor worked on the main menu screen, but disappeared once you entered any of the channels or a game. For me the problem was a faulty sensor bar. You can check if your sensor bar is working by focussing a digital camera on the bar as if you were taking a picture of it. In the viewfinder you should see 5 blue lights illuminated on both ends of the sensor bar. For me, only one side was illuminated. The sensor bar had to be replaced.
