That is physically not possible!

1. immediatelly switch off saw
2. remove cord from the plug
3. remove blade from machine
4. reverse blade 180degree and install it in direction of the rotation! if you look at saw from the blade side, rotation is clockwise!!! and cutting edge of teh teeth should point clockwise!
5. install and tighten the blade
6. plug in and switch in short burst only, check if it is rotating in proper direction and blade have teeth in proper direction
7. make test cut

Do not forget that this is not a toy, blade on circular saw cut through wood, metal and your fingers... always wear googles or eye/face protection shield, you have only two eyes and no spares...

Enjoy your woodworking experience! Always observe safety and machine rules.

Hope this allow you to fix the problem. Please leave note how did you go.

Ijust borrowed a b&d model 7334 from a lady and the blade runs backward. There are two arrows on the blade to show the backward direction. How do i get the blade to run forward?

if the spindle is turning in the right direction I would think that the blade is on backwards. the teeth should point towards the front of the tool. UNPLUG tool before maknig any adjustments. If the spindle is rotating backwards then it is an electrical issue.

Blade needs changing. nut is hard to get at

With the saw unplugged, retract the guard with the base plate extended so there is minimum teeth showing below. Place the blade of your saw on your wood top workbench. Press it down. Using the wrench that came with the saw or other appropriate size box or open end wrench or socket, turn the nut backward (this is a left hand thread not standard right hand thread). It will be tight.

Alternatively, there may be a shaft lock that you can press to lock the shaft to facilitate unbolting the blade.

Alternatively, there mau be a small hole in the blade. Insert a phillips screw driver in the hole to facilitate blade removal.

Key is knowing the thread is backward to what you expect. The reason for this is to cayse the nut to tighten as you turn on the saw, not loosen.

When you put on the new blade, make sure the nut is properly secured.

I hope this is clear for you.

Dayton Attic fan running backwards

First see if the switch has a reverse position. Sometimes you turn the fan assembly in the frame, sometimes you turn the whole frame around. Take the cover off the wiring compartment to see if there are instructions there. Also check on the name plate on the motor, there may be instructions there. Attic fans are usually engineered to blow out.
