SOURCE: i live in a three story house my wii is in the

Hi.

1. Try using it upstairs on the 2nd floor and if it works there you know its a range issue with the router.
To then solve it you could run a cable from the router down to the basement (which is a bit old school but very effective and guarenteed to work) or get a second router or modem and place it in the basement. (for modem you would need a phoneline in the basement)

2. If it doesn't work upstairs, make sure you have the correct connection information for your network and that your network is broadcasting its SSID. If your network is not broadcasting it is what is known as hidden. This means that you will have to enter all the network information manually by following the prompts on the wii console.

Does your TV have a wireless adapter? If so setup the wireless by connecting the TV to your wireless access point. You should find the wireless setup in the TV's settings. Then connect to netflix , enter ID and password.

I want to hook up netflix to my computer ,thru a wireless router. My computer is running of a land line .Do I need a two way spliter to run my Ethernet cable to both the computer and router,to run properly?...

Does your computer have a Wireless Adapter? This would allow you to pick up wireless transmissions from your wireless router.

If you don't have a Wireless Adapter, you'll need to buy one, or, you can connect your computer to the router with an Ethernet cable and then connect your Router to the socket in the wall.

Either way, as long as you have internet access on your computer, you will be able to hook up Netflix.

Error code 51030 means you Wii is unable to connect to your wireless network.
Try unplugging your modem and wireless router, then plugging them back in after a couple minutes.
While you're waiting for your modem and router, delete your network setting from your Wii, and set them back up once your router and modem are back up.
Your wireless router's setting might have changed and your Wii might not be able to properly connect.

Hooking up the Wii to the cable modum, what all do I need for Netflix to work ? I hear I need a wireless router, do I need more than just a wireless router.

What people use is a Roku box and a wireless router.
You can stream the Netflix movies from the wireless router to the Roku box which connects to your TV. There are some new TVs that have built-in wireless adapters and in that case, you don't need the Roku box.
