Are you referring to low frequency hum? that's a ground issue..check all your power cables, and eliminate the two prong approach..and plug your speakers into the wall directly to get the ground action

External speakers won't work on HP T5570e Thin Client

Try to use earphones, plug them in to phone audio connector....
try if it works..... if so, disconnect them and plug speakers.... and try again.... if doesn't work, go to audio advanced setup and check if speakers are not muted, or set up voicevolume level is too low. Play with that setup....

Also some computers can turn on or off speakers in Bios.

If problem will not be solved, try to use USB speakers

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it

click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to

reinstall drivers

click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers make sure you have selected the

(appropriate speakers) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the selected correct speaker settings there

click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it

if his does not fix the problem

click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker

volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar for any

further volume control settings you will need to right click on the speaker volume icon system select adjust volume

click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers select the appropriate speakers

from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand system

speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check

the speaker plug/outlets is usually at the back of the computer or if its a laptop on the side

you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make

sure the connection is good with no dust as dust causes static electricity

clean your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is

no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit

dust causes static to build up in a computer

NO SPEAKERS SOUND

Ok, there is a plug that looks green on the back of the unit. Match the color coding on the back of the unit and on the sound card. Make suire its plugged in the right hole because you got LINE IN- MIC and SPEAKER.. if its a 7.1 sound card then you probably got CENTER- RIGHT AND LEFT and so on.. check your cabling..

What kind of integrated sound card do you have?? I am going to assume its realtek. Go to control panel, then open up RealTek HD Sound effect manager and make sure the drop down menu for Environment is on "none". The try your speakers.

Go into the device manager and see if the sound card drivers are installed. If not then you'll need to install the drivers for them.

Hp Pavillion a1140n suddenly has very low sound...

chances are this is a windows sound setting. in the system tray (bottom right by the clock) right click the speaker icon and select 'Open Volume Control' you will see a series of sliders. Check and make sure none are set low. about 3/4 up for each should be fine.

Other things to check:
Speaker Cables, Speaker Volume, power to speakers.

Laptop speakers problem

There are 2 volume control buttons on the laptop. 1 turns it up 1 turns it down. Try turning the volume up. It may be up high enough for you to hear with headphones but now loud enough to be heard through the speakers.

Volume at high but sound low

Ok try turning the sound control up either on your speakers if it has volume control or go to options on the game menu and then go to sound option and turn it up, also if you are talking about that on your speaker volume control is up but sound is low try also bottom right of the screen if using windows find the little picture of a speaker, place mouse arrow over it right click and increase volume on system. Hope this helps you.
