-   Same problem here. My coupler is fine. I removed all 3 pieces and they are fine. Could it be a bad tranny?

-   I have a similar problem, but the noise only starts at the very end of the spin cycle. Everything else with the washer works...Is this still the motor coupler between the motor/transmission?
-   I have a front loading Maytag (1998) washer. Everything is fine EXCEPT the spin cycle is suddenly so-o-o loud it is deafening! HELP!

If you have a whirlpool, kenmore , roper, or kitchenaide washer you have a bad motor to transmission coupler. If it is another brand please let me know and I can tell you what you need.
